Barbera d’Alba Superiore DocBricco Torta
Wine made from Barbera vines from Madonna di Como where the soils are very steep, plastic, difficult to work and rich in tuff and sand.
The new wine stays 4 months in steel tanks and is racked several times before being put into new 600lt French oak tonneaux ages for 18 months before being bottled.
Intense ruby red color with purple and violet highlights. Aroma of currant, black cherry with hints of ripe and dried plum on a spicy background. In the mouth it gives great sensations of body and structure fused in a persistent and elegant wood.
Excellent with boiled meat and very tasty cheeses.
